On Tuesday, January 19, 2016 in the Tom Bradley room at Los Angeles City Hall, 25 members of the Los Angeles community were honored for their foundational work to make a positive impact in our city.

Leigh is the Founder, President & CEO of Beeznee – a company and social platform that promotes local giving without the exchange of dollars. Beeznee was created as a way to give locally, building community. The company is committed to donating 10% off the top revenue to charity partners making impact in Los Angeles. Prior to creating Beeznee, Leigh oversaw show and talent development for CBS TV Distribution and held similar positions for content creation at Warner Bros. She is a professor at Cal-State Northridge – a position she’s held since 2007 – teaching TV Development. Leigh is a graduate of New York University, Tisch School of the Arts. Originally from Alaska, Leigh currently resides in Santa Monica – the first community for Beeznee.
